Who is this for?

The online ICD-10-CM training & certification is ideal for medical coders, billers, managers, clinical staff and providers in the physician-office/outpatient setting. This training is ideal for those already working in the field however it is also great for those who are brand new to the coding industry (if this is the case, you will need to add onbasic CPT, ICD-9 & HCPCS II training as well).

Course Content

It covers a brief history of the ICD-10 transition, the differences between ICD-9 & ICD-10, the specific format changes, the coding conventions and GEMS conversion stats before diving into the ICD-10-CM Alphabetic Index and Tabular Index while covering the major chapter changes. The reading assignments will be specialty specific, to give you a further understanding of the changes and how to implement them in the workplace.
